What it does

You get asked. The answer is in your window. From your own documents.

Put in what matters once — your documents, your descriptions, your numbers. During the conversation Thalassa recognizes the question aimed at you and shows the passage it comes from: file and page, on your screen only.

Where the answer comes from

Every answer with its source.

Thalassa shows you the file and the page it came from. One glance tells you what the answer rests on — so you can say it without hesitating.

Before the conversation

Walk in prepared, without losing the evening.

Thalassa builds your briefing from your own material, then plays the other side — so you have answered the hard questions out loud once, before anyone asks them.

During the conversation

A window only you can see.

The answer appears on your screen while the other person is still talking. Nobody joins the conversation, and the window stays out of the screen you share.

6.5
Hours back every week
Modelled on 15 meetings a week — preparation, live answers and follow-up taken together. Your own number depends on how you work.
EU-only
Built to Europe's strictest privacy rules
Answers are generated in Frankfurt on Amazon Bedrock, eu-central-1. The permitted regions are enforced in the source code — a deployment outside them fails rather than falling back quietly.
17
Languages transcribed live
Answers in 16, interface in 8 — each set independently, so you can read the app in German while the meeting runs in English.
No card
One full meeting free
Briefing, live answers and debrief. Nothing to cancel afterwards, because without a payment method there is nothing that could renew.
How it's different

Answers from your facts, not a guess.

Generic AI copilots answer from a model. Thalassa answers from your uploaded documents first — your product specs, your price lists, your case files — and only falls back to the internet when it has to. When sources conflict, your knowledge base wins. That's the difference between an answer that sounds right and one that is right for your business.

Your documents first
Answers are drawn from your uploaded documents — product specs, price lists, case files. The internet is only a fallback, and when sources conflict, your knowledge base wins.
Citations you can check
In Legal & Finance, every library answer names its source — no unverifiable claims.
Nothing is kept
The transcript is deleted after the meeting, and audio is never stored.
Private to you
No bot joins your call, and nothing appears in your meeting's participant list. On Windows the assistant is excluded from screen capture outright; on macOS it stays out of any single-window share. A built-in self-test tells you whether it is hidden right now.

Run it on your own documents — installed in minutes, and your knowledge base is read and searched on your device.

SOLUTIONS

Where Thalassa works hardest for you

Sales meetings

The technical question you cannot answer, the discount rule you half-remember, the clause in last year's framework agreement. Thalassa finds it in your own price list and contracts while the question is still being asked, and shows you the page it came from. The sales playbook has the usual objections ready before they land. Connected to your CRM, it pulls the account before the call — open opportunities with stage, amount and close date, the last activities, and any open support case, so you never walk in unaware. Afterwards it drafts the note and the field updates for you to release. Salesforce Beta · HubSpot Beta · Google Workspace Beta · Microsoft 365 Beta

Advisory conversations

Consulting, technical or subject-matter advice — where the conversation wanders past your core area and the thread still has to hold. Your reports, standards and past project notes answer for you, and a briefing built from them means you arrive knowing what this client asked last time.

Legal and financial advisors

Never misstate a statute, a rate or a deadline in front of a client: every library answer names its source. Confidential mode replaces names, file references and addresses with placeholders before anything reaches the model — and if the anonymiser is unavailable you get no answer at all, never a silent pass-through. Both plans are still gated; the reason is on the pricing card. Your matter management connects directly, so the file is at hand instead of on another screen — and anonymisation runs before anything leaves your device. Job interviews

The two weeks between the invitation and the final round. Practice mode interviews you on your own CV and the job ad, the scenario lab plays out the question you are dreading, and a debrief tells you how it went. Buy the window, not a subscription — and use assistance in the interview itself only where it is permitted.

Students

Practice mode is the underrated part: it asks you the uncomfortable questions before anyone else does, from your own lecture notes and reading list, and it needs no microphone. Rehearse a viva or a presentation, then read the debrief on what you actually knew. Student rates need a university e-mail address.

Product

Built for the conversations you can't afford to get wrong

Grounded answers
First-person answers drawn from your own knowledge base first, with the internet only as a fallback. Predictive answering can start composing while the other side is still speaking.
Live translation
Follow a call in a language you don’t speak: the other side is translated for you in real time. Billed per session minute from prepaid credit (€0.23/min) — you only pay when you use it.
Speaks your languages
Transcription in 17 languages, answers in 16, and the interface in 8: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. All three are set independently — read the app in German while the meeting runs in English and the answers come back in German.
Discreet overlay
Your answers stay on your own screen. On Windows the window is excluded from capture by the operating system; on macOS it is absent from single-window shares, and since macOS 15.4 Apple no longer lets any app opt out of a full-screen share — so the app says so, and a built-in self-test checks the real state before you start. Focus mode, adjustable opacity, auto-dim and a restore shortcut included.
Conversation modes & playbooks
Eight modes — from sales and negotiation to coding interview and legal — shape the structure of every answer. Eight ready-made playbooks anticipate the questions and objections of a conversation type.
Briefing, scenario & practice
Walk in prepared: a pre-call briefing built from your documents, a scenario lab for “what if they say X”, and a practice mode that interviews you — no audio needed.
Screen analysis
A chart in the meeting, a task in the editor, a table in the deck: one click captures your screen for a single answer. The capture is used once and never stored.
Confidential mode
Names, file references and addresses are replaced with stable placeholders before anything reaches the language model, and translated back before the answer reaches your screen. If the anonymiser is unavailable, there is no answer — never a silent pass-through — and the minute is credited back.
After the call
An optional summary, a final report with open points and commitments, and pinned session notes — while the transcript itself is deleted. Your history keeps metadata only.
Knowledge-base profiles per client OCR for scanned PDFs Only what changed is re-indexed Auto-answer & adjustable sensitivity Answer style & length controls Custom instructions about you Google sign-in Single-meeting tickets — no subscription Student plans Auto top-up with a spending alert Windows & macOS
How it works

Live in three steps

1
Upload your knowledge base
Add your documents (PDF, Word, text) before the call; Thalassa builds your briefing.
2
Join your call
Start any meeting on any platform; Thalassa transcribes locally in real time. Switch on live translation and you read your counterpart in your own language — with no third person in the room.
3
Read your answer
Grounded, first-person answers appear in your private overlay the moment you need them.
Connections

For Zoom, Teams and Meet there is nothing to connect.

Thalassa listens to the sound on your own computer. It does not join your meeting, it is not a participant, and it asks your meeting platform for nothing. Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex, a phone call on speaker — whatever you use, there is nothing to set up, no admin approval to chase and no IT ticket to raise.

Optional connections to your own systems — where they really stand

These pull in your own documents and context. Each is listed with the status it actually has — a connection we have not finished is named as unfinished, never implied.

Status as of 1 September 2026.

“Prepared” means the sign-in path works and the place the credential is kept has been tested. What is missing is registration with that provider for production use, and the part that actually fetches the data. None of this is needed to run a meeting.

Across the whole conversation

Where the time actually comes back

The gain is not only in the minutes on the call. It is in the preparation that otherwise costs you an evening, and in the follow-up that otherwise never happens.

Before
Preparation that is already done
  • A full briefing built from your own documents
  • Rehearsal — you practise against the hard questions before they arrive
  • Meeting analysis: what it is about, who is across the table, where it will get tight
During
Backup nobody can see
  • Answers from your knowledge base — sourced, not guessed
  • Where needed, from verified official sources, with the citation
  • Live translation when you and your counterpart share no language
  • Out of your screen share — with a self-test that proves it, not a promise
After
Follow-up that does not slip
  • A debrief with open points and the commitments you made
  • Analysis of how the conversation went — what landed and what did not
  • The transcript itself is deleted; what you need stays

Objections

The questions people actually ask.

Answered the way they’d be answered on a call, not the way a brochure would.

“Isn’t this a cheating tool?”

It is built for professional conversations in which you are expected to have the right information — a client meeting, a negotiation, an advisory call. Getting around examinations is neither supported nor advertised, and where aids are not permitted, using it is not permitted. That is in the terms, not just here.

“Will the other person notice?”

On screen, no: the window is kept out of the share, there is no sound, no notification and no extra participant. In your behaviour, possibly — someone reading an answer aloud sounds like someone reading aloud. That is why the tool gives you bullet points and not a script.

“Is this recorded? My clients would never allow it.”

No. The transcript exists in the moment and is deleted after the conversation; audio is never stored. Whether you have to tell the other side depends on your country, the kind of conversation and your role — that decision stays yours, and Thalassa does not make it for you.

“Where does my data go?”

Processing in the EU, Frankfurt. Your knowledge base is searched on your device. Three exceptions, named rather than hidden: answers that use web search leave the EU path; optional live translation leaves it too; and a scanned PDF has each page sent to our Frankfurt backend once, at ingest, for text recognition — that one stays inside the EU but does leave your machine. All three can be switched off.

“How do I know the answer is right?”

Because the source is shown, and it is in your own document. If nothing suitable is found, the knowledge base is skipped for that answer rather than padded. We do not claim perfect accuracy. The last word belongs to the person speaking.

“It’s expensive.”

Measured against what? One lost deal, one wrong figure quoted to a customer, or one evening of preparation costs more than a month. Measured against a note-taking tool it is expensive — but that tool solves a different problem. If your conversations do not turn on your own documents and do not have to be answered live, a general assistant is cheaper and just as good. We would rather say that than sell you the wrong thing.

“I already have a note-taking tool.”

That is not a contradiction; it is a different category. Note-taking tools work after the conversation and store everything in order to do it. Thalassa works during the conversation and stores nothing. Plenty of people run both.

“What if the internet goes down?”

No new answers come. The search across your own documents keeps working, because it runs on your device.
